Lucretia Jones always gets her man—she just has a little trouble holding on to him. Part screwball comedy, part film noir detective story, The Lucretia Jones Mysteries is constructed of several fast-paced episodes in which a classy dame with long legs outwits a philandering husband, a blackmailing butler, and a murderous Martian, among others.
